Completing the List

If there is one thing I like doing, its making a list. Perhaps not so good at completing a list, but thrashing out a to-do I can ace. So when thinking about littlegem’s pregnancy and how it will be her last time it got me thinking about all the things I wanted to achieve. In this particular case it was capturing her in various ways to celebrate this exciting part of life. Yes there is the morning sickness, the aches and pains; but if there is something to be remembered in years to come it is the ways that her beauty is captured. With that in mind a list was made.

1. Photo in a Wild Meadow

Earlier this year we had an enjoyable experience meeting up with Cousin Pons in a meadow beside one of Norfolk’s beautiful broads. It was a scary thought to be meeting up with someone in person for the first time with a view to have littlegem undressed/ naked. But it all went really well and we took some really nice photos.

2. Photo during Wax Play

Created and displayed

I could not find a lot of  pregnant wax play photos whilst carrying out my research. I knew it was ok to do, as long as I was safe in regards to the temperature of the wax. My preferred method is using soy wax to almost glaze her whilst she lies on her side, a quicker way to get a big effect which is a consideration when being pregnant can be uncomfortable when kept in one position. This was then topped with usual candle wax to make it feel more like play. The experience was sensual and relaxing for us both and seeing the wax go over her belly captured her curves.

3. A Milk Bath Photo

When it comes to milk bath’s this isn’t our first rodeo. So it made sense to do it again. We went on holiday, making sure to pick one with a nice bath and spend some time foraging for natural materials to go in our bath. The theme was mother nature so we looked for sticks, leaves, flowers whatever we could find.  Add it to the bath with some milk and tah-dah.

4. Low Key Photography

Shooting in low key is great if you want to hide some parts, but accentuate others. Plus it looks moody and cool so with a black backdrop and a nicely developing bump we took some low key images.

5. In Rope Bondage

Which brings us to the end of the list, rope play. The thought of pregnant bondage was intriguing and much like the wax play was only done so after making sure it was ok to do so. I picked a rope dress that was altered to have more room around the belly and it was nice to get the ropes out again as it can be a very intimate experience.

What Now?

List done, tick! There is still time before our lives will change and be even busier than usual. There are more thoughts in my mind about things we can. But more now I can be happy with what we have achieved and the memories that we have made. I intend to make a book once I have completed taking and editing all of our photos so it make be kept as a reminder for years to come.

  1. What a magnificent list! You and LittleGem have worked really hard creating this wonderful variety of images. Producing a book is such a good idea and will be something to treasure.

Thank you for mentioning me. Yes, I was nervous too. Not so much about meeting you two, as I knew you would be lovely, but I was apprehensive about my photography skills. I had a wonderful time. You were the loveliest couple I could hope to meet and those hours we spent together will live long in my memory. Thank you. x

  2. Great images that prove pregnancy can be sexy. Something different in your portfolio to look back on. I love them.

  3. I share your love of lists and I totally understand your desire to do one with such an opportunity. Well done for documenting your beautiful wifes physical journey with a shared adventure.

I can only imagine that this has made the pregnancy more of a bonding experience for you both.

(Also, Gem, you continue to look so stunning while growing a human! Playing host is hard work, and with two smalls as well. You’re absolutely my hero!) N xx

  4. I love all of these images so much. I’ve always regretted not being able to get pregnancy pics (those days are long gone lol), and think you’ve done a remarkable job of capturing the incredible journey of new life mixed with the erotic. They’re tasteful and elegant and everything an expecting mother could want 🙂

  5. I think it’s absolutely wonderful that you have taken this opportunity to take all those photos, and even more wonderful that you shared them with all of us. Gem looks absolutely wonderful in all of these! Thank you so much for making that list, and executing it!

  6. I take a huge amount of pleasure both in making lists and working through them once they’ve been made. It’s good to see I’m not the only one!
