In a town in the east
The parishioners were visited upon
By a curious beast

It was the coming of theBlack ShuckBlack Shuck – The Darkness
Around where we live there is folklore of a mysterious large black devil dog known as Black Shuck. It roams across the East of England and visits churchyards at night. Luckily nowadays you’re more likely to stumble across a playful puppy instead on a morning walk.
