Littlegem had little need to wear make up prior to deciding to show her face on our images. Now that she does it has become a consideration, since usually she wears very minimal make up. When we did some photos in the bath a few weeks ago, that was probably the most make up she had put on in a while. I really enjoyed the effort she had put in and she felt more sexy in front of the camera wearing it. So we planned to take a photo for this month’s prompt after a trip to the city to buy some brightly coloured eye shadows.
Whilst she applied the make up, I set up the shot. The effect was made by attaching my phone’s light to a colander using some skewers so that the light shone through creating some interesting shadows. A bit low tech but we were really happy with the results. The one below is my favourite.
Fabulous pics. Of the two I like the first one best. But both are great!
Thanks Michael ?
Love it!
Thank you
I love the pattern of light on these pictures. Low tech is great when it works this well. I also love the way Little Gem’s skin is glowing and contrasting with cool blue and blood pink. Perfect shapes.
Thank you, that’s very kind ☺️
I absolutely adore the second one. Light and shadow pictures make me happy so this week’s Sinful Sundays are heaven for me.
Yes there are so many interesting images this week ?
I love the little pops of color in both! Amazing!
Thanks ?
Gorgeous images, and I really love that Gem is showing her face. She is beautiful!
Rebel xox
Yes I totally agree, she is beautiful
Absolutely stunning. The light and the shadows here are amazing xx
Thank you Julie ☺️
These are amazing. What a brilliant idea. I might have to give it a try but also that top image, everything about it is fucking brilliant. The eye shadow and the pose and the light. It is sexy as hell
Molly
Thanks Molly I love your no nonsense way of complimenting ?
I think I prefer the first image. The combination of the pink eyeshadow and the pink background work well together. We had similar ideas with lights and shadows this week. Although I do think you probably managed it better! Beautiful images.
Missy x
Yes we did do similar, would love to know what you used for yours. The background was a sex blanket to cover up our terrible sofa.
I’m in awe of the pictures you take every week! I absolutely love this one, again!
Thank you, I’m happy how it turned out this week.
That is a very strong effort to create such a beautiful picture of light and shadow. I am all for make up and being creative with it, so I am all excited gem is going for it too! I absolutely love the second image: the calmness in her facial expression and the light on her skin? Just gorgeous!
Thanks DS, yes I love it when she gets expressive
Absolutely gorgeous use of light and shadows, Rich, warm colours and gem is stunning x
Thank you ?
These are both gorgeous but I think I like the second one the best. The first is very sexy and soft but there is something mysterious about the second image. Brilliant idea and execution 🙂
Thanks missy, I really like how it went and we had fun doing it which was the main thing.
Two very beautiful images. And what a great effect achieved by using simple props!
I’m all about being simple ?
Stunning – both the subject and the composition
The subject is my favourite bit ?
Just so vibrant. Second one for me – love the angles x
Thanks, I love the shine in her nipple piercings too
Very pretty ?
Thanks JG ☺️
Absolutely stunning . . . both !!!
Clever and beautiful in every way !!!
Xxx – K
Thank you ?
It’s a big step, showing your face. Selfishly glad for it, I mean what a knock-out! And the make-up provides another avenue of expression I eagerly await to see more of!
Thank you, I’m sure there will be plenty of expression
Lovely. Simple and gorgeous.
Thank you ?
These are simply divine – LittleGem you are beautiful x
Thank you, yes I quite agree ?
My goodness she is just stunning!stunning!
Yes she sure is ?
I think I may need to experiment with a colander, absolutely brilliant!
The funny thing is it’s a terrible colander, it finally has a use!
My favourite is the second one for the strong contrasts and leading lines, brilliant solution well executed for the prompt and it’s lovely to see Gem in all her beauty too.
Thanks, it’s a shame our website theme doesn’t allow portrait photos as the featured image without it going funny.
Fucking hell, these are excellent. The second one is magic.
Thanks, it was so much better than I expected
wonderfully done
great pics
Thanks, we were so pleased how they came out
